Effective Date: September 2, 2026

Last Updated: September 2, 2026

1. Overview

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") describes conduct and content that is strictly prohibited on Truly The One (the "Service"). It supplements, and is incorporated into, our Terms of Service. Truly The One has zero tolerance for the conduct described below. A violation of this AUP may result in immediate, permanent removal from the Service and will be reported to law enforcement or other authorities where required or appropriate, regardless of any other provision of our Terms of Service.

For how law enforcement can submit legal requests related to violations of this policy, see our Law Enforcement Guidelines.

2. Child Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (CSAM)

Truly The One is for adults only. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, and every member must complete government-issued ID verification before they can access matches or messaging (see our Terms of Service, Section 2, "Eligibility"). You may not, under any circumstances:

We report apparent CSAM and other apparent child sexual exploitation to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and cooperate with law enforcement investigations. Any account involved in a violation of this section is permanently banned from the Service, without prior warning.

5. Human Trafficking, Sex Trafficking, and Sexual Exploitation

You may not use the Service, in any way, to:

Claimed or apparent consent by any individual does not make any of the above conduct permitted under this policy.

6. Sexually Explicit Profile Content

Truly The One is a marriage- and relationship-intent dating service, not an adult content platform. You may not post, upload, or send:

7. Scams and Fraudulent Activity

You may not use the Service to defraud or attempt to defraud another user, including:

8. Impersonation and Identity Misrepresentation

You may not:

9. Illegal Acts

You may not use the Service to engage in, or attempt to engage in, any activity that is illegal under applicable law, including but not limited to:

10. Reporting and Enforcement

You can report a profile or a conversation directly within the app at any time. Reports are reviewed by our admin moderation team through our internal moderation system.

Truly The One reserves the right, at our sole discretion, to take any of the following actions in response to a violation of this AUP, depending on the severity and nature of the conduct: issue a warning, restrict access to certain features, suspend an account, or permanently remove an account from the Service. Creating a new account after a permanent ban, or otherwise attempting to evade a ban or suspension, is itself a violation of this AUP and our Terms of Service.

Violations involving minors, human trafficking, sexual violence, or credible threats of violence will result in immediate, permanent removal from the Service without prior warning.

To request a takedown, or to report content you believe violates this policy outside the in-app reporting tools, contact us at support@trulytheone.com. We cooperate with valid legal process, including law enforcement requests and court orders, to the extent required by applicable law — see our Law Enforcement Guidelines for how to submit a request.

This Acceptable Use Policy should be read together with our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Law Enforcement Guidelines, and Refund Policy. Questions about this policy can be directed to support@trulytheone.com.
