By creating an account or using Truly The One (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. All users are required to complete identity verification through our verification partner before accessing matches or messaging features. We reserve the right to deny or terminate access to anyone who cannot be verified or who fails to meet eligibility requirements.
You agree to provide accurate, current information when creating your account and to keep it updated. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You may not create more than one account, impersonate another person, or create a profile for anyone other than yourself.
Truly The One offers subscription tiers (Connect, Global, and Marry with Intent) and one-time purchases (including call extensions and profile spotlights), as described in the app.

We reserve the right to investigate reported violations, remove content, suspend, or permanently ban accounts that violate these Terms, using the moderation and reporting systems described in-app.
You retain ownership of content you post, but grant Truly The One a license to use, display, and distribute that content as necessary to operate the Service. You may report other users or content that violates these Terms; we will review reports and take appropriate action, which may include warnings, suspension, or permanent bans, at our discretion.
Truly The One has zero tolerance for the conduct described in this section. A violation of this section may result in immediate, permanent removal from the Service and will be reported to law enforcement or other authorities where required or appropriate, regardless of any other provision of these Terms.
The full, standalone version of this policy — including additional detail on sexual violence, non-consensual content, sexually explicit profile content, and scams and fraud — is published separately as our Acceptable Use Policy. This section is incorporated into, and should be read together with, that policy.

Truly The One is for adults only. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, and every member must complete government-issued ID verification before they can access matches or messaging (see Section 2, "Eligibility"). You may not:
We report apparent CSAM and other apparent child sexual exploitation to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and cooperate with law enforcement investigations. Any account involved in a violation of this section is permanently banned from the Service.

You can report a profile or a conversation directly within the app at any time. Reports are reviewed by our admin moderation team through our internal moderation system.
Truly The One reserves the right, at our sole discretion, to take any of the following actions in response to a violation of this section or any other part of these Terms, depending on the severity and nature of the conduct: issue a warning, restrict access to certain features, suspend an account, or permanently remove an account from the Service. Creating a new account after a permanent ban, or otherwise attempting to evade a ban or suspension, is itself a violation of these Terms.
Violations involving minors, human trafficking, or credible threats of violence will result in immediate, permanent removal from the Service without prior warning.
To request a takedown, or to report content you believe violates these Terms outside the in-app reporting tools, contact us at support@trulytheone.com. We cooperate with valid legal process, including law enforcement requests and court orders, to the extent required by applicable law — see our Law Enforcement Guidelines for how to submit a request.
Truly The One verifies identity for all users, but cannot guarantee the conduct, intentions, or safety of any user you interact with, on or off the platform. You are solely responsible for your own safety when communicating with or meeting other users. We strongly recommend meeting in public places, telling a friend or family member your plans, and using your own judgment at all times. Truly The One is not responsible for the conduct of any user, on or off the Service.
The Service, including its design, features, and branding, is owned by Truly The One and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our written permission.
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in unsafe or fraudulent behavior, or for any other reason at our discretion, with or without notice.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TRULY THE ONE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING ANY INTERACTIONS WITH OTHER USERS.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kentucky, without regard to conflict of law principles, unless otherwise required by applicable law in your jurisdiction.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app or by email before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
